Rubinetterie Treemme was one of the winners of the 2020 Archiproducts Design Awards. The event, now at its fifth edition, recognises cutting-edge products in line with the current design trends.
The jury – composed of world-renowned architects, communication agencies, journalists, and photographers – selected the winners among 750 submissions from all over the world. Rubinetterie Treemme’s Kea model, designed by Marco Pisati and Giampiero Castagnoli ticked all the boxes in terms of originality, innovation, and experimentation.
The 2020 edition of the Archiproducts Design Awards was a special one, as it was organised and launched to support creativity, ingenuity, and enterprises in these difficult times.
Rubinetterie Treemme was immensely proud to be among this year’s winners. Even more so, with a model – Kea – that combines engineering and design.
Kea is a classic faucet that stands out for its minimalist and elegant design. An innovative model that celebrates the merger of aesthetic values of the past and modern technology. Kea features a grooved spout, which draws inspiration from ancient Greek columns, and brass knobs that resemble architectural fragments of ancient temples.
The collection also includes two new versions with marble or crystal knobs. The latter version features a mini LED system inside the knobs, which emphasises the “ancient Greek” décor through light and the material’s transparency.
