A designer with a fascination for new materials and new technologies, he has experimented with his ideas in a huge variety of fields: from the aerospace sector - where he designed the interiors of zero-gravity living modules for ASI, the Italian Space Agency - to ground level, where he designed the first interactive office on the road (Italian Automobile Club motorhome).
Invited to exhibit his works at the Leopolda in Florence («Deep Inside»- Image), he presented - together with Grado Zero Espace, a leading company in the aerospace textile sector - the prototype for an astronaut’s jacket in Diaplex (a fabric made with shape-memory polyurethane).
Marco Pisati’s products have obtained numerous prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the Archiproducts Design Award, the ADI Ceramics & Bathroom Design Award, the Iconic Awards and the German Design Award.
